The impacts of the novel coronavirus have changed how we all do business and interact with the world around us. At Moonshot, we provide contactless service to our customers, which significantly reduces opportunities for communicating COVID-19.

Despite the protections provided by contactless service, we are doing what we can to protect our customers and team members from COVID-19:

  • Our team members wear gloves and masks when performing their tasks
  • We are wiping down our high traffic areas at our facilities and on our vehicles at the beginning and end of each day
  • We are continuing to wash all our collection bins with soap and water, and keep the bins out of circulation at least 3 days after being washed
  • We are spraying the handle and top of the bin with disinfectant immediately before dropping it off
  • All our team members wash their hands before and after entering our facilities

We are closely monitoring the recommendations from the U.S. Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, as well as federal and local authorities to make sure we are keeping our employees and our customers safe. We will continue to make sure that personal health and safety guides all our decisions.

One request for our you, our valued customers: We ask that on your pickup days, if able, you wipe your bin(s) down with a disinfectant before placing it outside.

You can continue to check back here for updates to our practices to limit the spread of COVID-19. If you have any additional questions, please email us at .
