What happens to your food waste?
We can’t help it—we think the science of how spoiled food and leftovers break down to become a valuable commodity when given enough time and oxygen is really cool. Where does that happen, you ask?
After being picked up by a Moonshot crew, your food waste is slowly transformed into compost at commercial composting facilities, and from there it’s sent into your community to do its beneficial work.
